Welcome to episode 20 of The Local Business Show. In this episode Jay MacFarland sits down with Jordan Goldman and they discuss his accounting business, Prime Ledger, how he got into it, his views on customer service and basically how it is that he helps small businesses.
As an entrepreneur, Jordan Goldman CPA carries on a family legacy of hard work, but as Principal of Prime Ledger, he blazes a new trail. Their specialty is helping generational entrepreneurs to build family wealth by providing the care and intentionality of a small accounting team but delivering it through the digital systems and processes leveraged by big firms. Jordan and his team understand that a growing operation requires more than clean books. The scale so many entrepreneurs seek today requires back office management and systems to hold the capacity of the growth to come. His background as a Senior Accountant at Baker Tilly and as a Senior Associate at the Ernst & Young (EY) Financial Services Group based in Manhattan, is where he gained experience in Financial Statement Auditing and Internal Control Policy. Jordan received his BA in Accounting from SUNY Albany, and his Master’s Degree from Queens College. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
