Prior to Capital Insight Partners, Steve Nelson was with Merrill Lynch in Scottsdale. Before that, he served as a Principal at Lowry Hill and was one of the team that oversaw more than $6 billion. He has over three decades of experience. Steve leads the strategic direction of the firm and has primary investment responsibility for a number of clients. Steve also sits on the Investment Team. Steve's degrees are a Bachelor of Science from St. John's University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the Phoenix CFA Society and CFA Institute. He is a past Trustee of the Phoenix Art Museum and a former member of the Board of Directors of the CFA Society of Minnesota and the Catholic Community Foundation. In 2008 St. John's University honored him with a Presidential Citation. His wife Kris is a veterinarian and the author of Coated With Fur: A Vet's Life & Coated With Fur: A Blind Cat's Love.
